Parliament supporting Iran-Turkey economic cooperation: MP

Tehran, May 1, 2018(IRNA) – Iranian parliament is supporting broadening of mutual cooperation between Tehran and Ankara in all fields, especially in trade and economic ones, Member of judicial and legal commission of Parliament said.


Tehran, May 1, 2018(IRNA) – Iranian parliament is supporting broadening of mutual cooperation between Tehran and Ankara in all fields, especially in trade and economic ones, Member of judicial and legal commission of Parliament said.

Mohammad Ali Pour Mokhtar made the remarks Monday in a meeting with Turkish envoy to Iran Hakan Takin. 

As two big and effective countries in the region, Iran and Turkey enjoy friendly ties, he said, adding that a good prospect has been devised for reinforcing relations.

Both countries have considerable cultural cooperation, especially in the field of tourism, Pour Mokhtar added.

He reiterated that promoting relations between provinces will facilitate making the development plans operational.

Hakan Takin, for his part, said religious and cultural commonalities between Iran and Turkey are effective for developing ties between the two countries and will facilitate cooperation. 

He also described developing tourism as important.

Takin went on to say that Turkish diplomatic mission in Tehran will do its best for paving the way for developing provincial cooperation between two countries.
