Tehran, September 9, 2021 (ICANA) – Iranian Member of Parliament Mojtaba Yousefi stressed developing bilateral economic cooperation with Russia and invited Russian companies to invest in various projects in Iran.
Speaking in a meeting with Russian Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin which was held on the sidelines of the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Vienna, Yousefi said: We are ready to cooperate in the field of extraterrestrial cultivation, fisheries, plant and animal health, joint venture in livestock projects and meat exports to Iran.
The level of bilateral, regional and international relations between Iran and Russia has recently been in a good condition, and we hope during the new government, the relations between the two countries will develop in various fields.
He called for taking advantage of Shanghai Cooperation Organization capacities in line with members' development.
We expect Russia to fulfill its obligations in the field of export and joint production of vaccines in Iran.
We should try to remove the obstacles caused by the corona epidemic on economic and popular interactions, and to facilitate Iranian and Russian nationals' commute, especially economic activists and students, by observing health protocols.
Meanwhile, Karasin said Iran and Russia have faced many challenges in the past, including war and peace, and now they are in a difficult situation.
