Speaker: Iran supporting Palestine

Tehran, Dec.18, 2017(IRNA) – Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is supporting Palestine militarily, financially and politically, but the allegations on Iran's military support for Yemen is a sheer lie.

Larijani make the remarks in the Parliamentary Union of Islamic Countries (PUIC) Committee on Palestine in Tehran on Monday.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has no fear to declare that it is supporting Palestine financially, politically and militarily, but strongly dismisses rendering military aid to Yemen and regards it as a sheer lie, he said.

Iran never hesitates to support Palestine as it believes that it will save the Arab country, the Iranian parliament speaker added.

Iran has no fear to announce that it will support Palestine financially, politically and militarily as believes the move as a genuine move, Larijani said.

'We are not such country to hide our military support to any country,' he underlined.

Yemen has its own missiles and some countries through creating counterclaims will achieve nothing, the Iranian parliament speaker said.

'If the US seeks to create problems in the region, they should try other means as such efforts are totally futile,' he said.

The Parliamentary Union of Islamic Countries (PUIC) Committee on Palestine started an extraordinary meeting in Tehran on Monday.

Parliament speakers of Iran, Iraq, and Mali attended the committee meeting.

Lawmakers from Iran, Jordan, Senegal, Turkey, Turkey, Palestine, Morocco, Chad, Indonesia, Iraq, and Mali are taking part in the extraordinary meeting.
