MP urges Iran-Pakistan APA committees to develop ties

Tehran, Jan 10, 2021 (ICANA) - Head of Iran parliamentary group in Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) Masoumeh Pashaie Bahram said members of Iran-Pakistan APA committees should take advantage of opportunities in line with reinforcing Asian cooperation.

 

Speaking in a meeting with Pakistani Ambassador to Tehran Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Pashaie Bahram said commonalities between two neighbors is considered as an opportunity in line with developing relations more than ever.

He described Iran and Pakistan as two important and effective countries in the Islamic World, saying consultations between Muslim states is the only solution to remove crises in the Islamic World especially for oppressed Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Hayat Qureshi stressed boosting parliamentary relations between Iran and Pakistan in regional and international communities.

Nothing should stop developing cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad in bilateral and multilateral fields.

He referred to inauguration of Rimdan-Gabd gateway as the first step in line with reinforcing relations between Iran and Pakistan.
