Envoy: S. Korea keen on developing trade ties with Iran
Tehran, Nov 20, 2019 (ICANA) – South Korean envoy to Tehran Yo Jang Hyan referred to the importance of promoting economic relations with Iran, saying his country is trying to boost trade ties with Iran by removing obstacles.
Speaking in a meeting with Head of Iran-South Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group Asadollah Abbasi, Jang Hyan said the role of parliamentary friendship groups is of importance in removing obstacles on developing economic relations.
He stressed the importance of reinforcing cooperation with Iran in various fields.
Meanwhile, Abbasi referred to background of friendly ties between two countries saying Iran and South Korea have various capacities in various fields.
He urged both sides to promote level of interactions.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the level of economic interactions between two countries, he said members of the Islamic Parliament of Iran expect removing road-blocks on the way of promoting cooperation.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Iranian MP slammed imposition of cruel sanctions by US which is against international regulations.
No country should be allowed to tarnish friendly ties between two countries, Abbasi noted.
