Senior MP: US, Allies Must Change Approach
Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Sunday that the US and its allies must change approach on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
Speaking in the wake of resumption of nuclear talks with G5+1, he said the Islamic Republic of Iran has already announced its views and conditions within a proposal submitted to G5+1 signifying that the country has adopted a very crystal clear stand to this effect. The fact is that the US along with its western allies has adopted a failed diplomacy in connection with Iran as they called for halt of uranium enrichment in Iran. Since their request was illegal and ran counter to international norms, Iran refused to do so, he said.
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved great success in nuclear technology within the framework of IAEA's rules and regulations and advised the US and its western allies to change their wrong approach. Iran fully abides by international rules and regulations set by IAEA as well as NPT protocol, added
