TEHRAN, Feb. 19, 2014 (FNA)- Nigerien National Assembly Speaker Hama Amadou condemned the Wests unfair sanctions on Iran, and hoped for finalizing a permanent nuclear agreement between Tehran and the world powers and removal of all embargos on the country.

On the sidelines of the 9th Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Tehran on Tuesday, the top Nigerien parliamentarian voiced pleasure in sealing an interim agreement by Iran and the Group5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members Plus Germany) in Geneva, and described the Wests sanctions on Iran as unfair.

Under the interim agreement between Iran and the G5+1 struck in Geneva late in November, Iran agreed to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities for a six-month period in return for some relief from the illegal western sanctions.
