"The hegemonic powers intend to plunder the resources of the African countries and nations," Larijani said during the meeting held on the sidelines of a Meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Tehran on Tuesday night.
Stressing that the Islamic Republic of Iran is eager to help the economic and social progress of African states, he announced the Iranian private and governmental companies readiness to export technical and engineering services to them.
Amadou, for his part, underlined that the presence of high-ranking parliamentary delegations in Tehran shows Irans key role and position in the Muslim world.
He also said that the people and government of Niger attach much importance to the expansion of close cooperation with Tehran.
Tehran has prioritized promotion of its economic and political ties with the African states and the country is now considered as one of the African Unions strategic partners.
