Tehran, Nov 4, 2019 (ICANA) – President of the Islamic Parliament of Iran Ali Larijani said grounds have been prepared for developing cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan, adding that parliament has no limitation in promoting parliamentary ties.
Speaking in a meeting with Azerbaijan Ambassador to Tehran Bonyad Hosseinov, Larijani referred to deep and friendly ties between Iran and Azerbaijan, saying that Iranian people and officials have always been interested in boosting relations with Azerbaiajn.
Grounds have been satisfactory for reinforcing economic, political, cultural and social cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan, he said urging officials to make efforts for activating these capacities.
Developing economic and industrial ties namely in agricultural, urbanism and transportation fields should be focused, he reiterated.
Meanwhile, Hosseinov described as historic and extensive relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, saying Baku has always supported strengthening interactions with Iran.
Fortunately, both countries enjoy good ties in economic, industrial, transportation, railways, urbanism, agricultural industries, customs, social, and cultural and tourism fields, he said.
Referring to the measures taken for developing tourism between two countries, Hosseinov said Azerbaijan has prepared facilities for reinforcing tourism sector.
He went on to say that Iran-Azerbaijan investment share is also increasing.
