Larijani: US fails to stop Iran oil sale

Tehran, Feb 10, 2020 (ICANA) – President of the Islamic Parliament of Iran Ali Larijani said US intended to zero Iran oil sale but it failed to do so.

Addressing Qom provincial council meeting, Larijani said after years of struggles over nuclear issue and human rights, Iran signed the nuclear deal and the US president finally withdrew from the accord.

Iran wisely continued its way and has doubt from the very beginning but Europeans vowed to fulfill Iran’s demands.

He noted that the High Representative of the European Union Josep Borrell has recently visited Iran and said Iran is right and the issue is of important for the country.

Thanks to their false assumption, Americans pulled out of the nuclear deal and imposed sanctions against Iran.

Referring to the fact that US wanted to put negative impact on Iran exports by pressuring banking system, Larijani said Iran exports steel and petrochemical products and Iranian businessmen continue exports.

They tried to create international consensus and have invested a lot in West but they were not successful in developing sanctions and creating coalition with other countries.

Larijani went on to say that Iran is not after creating an empire.

Underlining Iran support of any democratic move in the region, he said we helped Iraqi, Syrian and Lebanese governments.
