Tehran, Nov 29, IRNA – Head of Iran-Ecuador parliamentary friendship group Hemayat Mirzade unscored strengthening parliamentary relations with Ecuador.
Speaking in a meeting with Ecuador's Ambassador to Tehran Alejandro Ortega Almeida, Mirzade stressed promoting ties between two countries in political and economic fields.
Due to US cruel sanctions and banking obstacles, level of relations experienced fall, he added.
Iran believes in boosting interactions in various fields.
He referred to developing parliamentary relations especially between parliamentary friendship groups as paving the way for promoting interactions.
He went on to say that reinforcing parliamentary relations will result in facilitating and accelerating ties in various fields.
Referring to good political relations between Iran and Ecuador and the interest between Iranian and Ecuadorian senior officials in developing all-out ties, he called for suitable planning.
Meanwhile, Ortega Almeida expressed hope for developing relations.
He pointed to Iran-Ecuador common views with regard to regional and international issues as an important factor and called for promoting the level of relations.
Establishing parliamentary friendship groups in Iran and Ecuador has paved the way for developing interactions.
