TEHRAN,Jun 16, 2017 (FNA)- A bill to counter the anti-Iran measures taken by the US Senate has been drafted by the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian parliament, a senior MP said.
"Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani assigned the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission to prepare a bill to confront the US Senate's measures and now the draft is ready," Rapporteur of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Seyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said on Thursday evening.
He underlined that the Iranian parliament has decided to take some measures by consolidating all the Acts against the US in order to take a major step.
The United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, passed a plan regarding the vast non-nuclear sanctions against Iran called "Countering Iran’s Destabilizing Activities Act of 2017" on May 25.
According to their claims, expanding and imposing new sanctions take place on the pretext of "Iran's ballistic missile program, (alleged) support for terrorism and (alleged) violation of human rights".
