Recent Tehran terrorist acts not affecting Iran's power: MP
Sari, June. 15, 2017(IRNA) – The recent terrorist act has had no effect on Iran’s authority and the Islamic Republic of Iran is still one of the safest and strongest countries in the region and the world, a Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission member said.
“The recent terrorist act in Iran happened at a time our country flaunted a glorious election as a major power in international arena and followed its interests,' said Ali Najafi, a Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission member on Wednesday night.
“This act, done by the Takfiri members, has not challenged Iran’s authority and our country is strongly going forward to develop and improve,” he added.
In the last Wednesday twin terrorist acts in Tehran, Majlis office building and the shrine of Imam Khomeini were attacked by five suicide terrorists resulting in 17 people killed and 56 others wounded.
