Iranian official appreciates Niger's stance regarding Palestine
Tehran, July 10, IRNA – Majlis (parliament) Speaker's Special Aide for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian on Monday appreciated Niger government and nation’s stance vis-à-vis the issue of Palestine and holy Quds.
In a meeting with the Head of Nigerien parliamentary friendship group with Iran Masani Couroni who is currently in Tehran on the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, Amir Abdollahian voiced Majlis’ interest to promote cooperation between the two countries.
“Tehran welcomes Niger parliament speaker’s visit to Tehran,” he said, hoping that the trip would take place soon.
For his part, Couroni, expressed joy over his visit to Tehran and called for using Iranian Majlis’ experience and its support to help boost bilateral relations.
He also urged promotion of ties in all fields, particularly in parliamentary and treatment sectors.
Niger Parliamentary Friendship Group is in Tehran on a three-day official visit at the invitation of its Iranian counterpart.
