Tehran, June. 15,2017(IRNA)- The plan to confront measures by the United States Senate has been drafted by the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and Majlis research center, says National Security and Foreign Policy Commission spokesman.
“There was an assignment by the Speaker of Majlis to the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission regarding the plan to counter the United States Senate measures and now the draft is ready,” says Hossein Naghavi Hosseini on Thursday.
“The members of Majlis decided to take some measures on the agenda of the Parliament by consolidating all the Acts against the US in order to take a major step to counter their shiftiness,” he said.
The United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, passed a plan regarding the vast non-nuclear sanctions against Iran called 'Countering Iran’s Destabilizing Activities Act of 2017' on May 25.
According to their claims, expanding and imposing new sanctions are due to Iran's ballistic missile program, supporting terrorism and violation of human rights.
