Tehran, Dec. 8,2016(IRNA) – Majlis (parliament) Speaker Special Aide for international affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that victory of Syrian armed forces in Aleppo against terrorists was decisive.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Serbian Charge D' Affaires Branko Markovic here on Thursday.
Amir-Abdollahian expressed pleasure on development of ties between the two countries and said that holding parliamentary dialogues could be useful for both states.
He said that establishment of stability and security in the region of west Asia and the whole world is among principle foreign policies of Iran and added that growth of terrorism and increased number of refugees are among the most important developments in the region.
In the meeting, Markovic submitted invitation letter of Serbian parliament speaker for Ali Larijani to visit Serbia.
Markovic expressed interests of his country for expansion of parliamentary cooperation and added that establishment of friendship group will help expansion of relations between the two parliaments.
The Serbian diplomat appreciated Iran for its supports of Serbia and said that Serbia will support Iran's stances in using political solution in the Middle East developments and fight against terrorism.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Balkan and the Middle East.
